I know old or bad o2 sensors will increment fuel consumption. Can't read gauges at night. Does your truck run funny at all? Overall, I am completely satisfied with this truck and really glad I chose to purchase this vehicle. Even if you took thousands off its list price, the Ranger still would not be a bargain. Extensive labor to release the right side latch and install a replacement latch made that one work.
I know they are rated for 87 but my truck demolishes that. I have hit a desk in the middle of the freeway at 80 mph and only broke the grill, rear ended a couple of cars, and there is no visible damage from t. My truck 96 V6 3. Air con still works like new. My 5 ft wife has to just about jump in.
I also had to change the thermostat housing, because it was leaking. There was no indication of a problem. I just feel great in this truck and it makes me happy. Are you sure you can run just 220 miles? And just a thought idunno if anyone else can chime in but my gas mileage is night and day between 87 and 91 octane. Maybe the synchromesh is bad? Compact dimensions and a usefully sized bed are the Ranger's only pluses. If that was true, I would always buy 93 octane! And I was afraid to put the folding chairs in the bright-red cargo bed because I thought it. Lots of little replacements that a normal set of tools can tackle and it only makes you more confident in the truck as you do repair hoses, door handles etc.

The interior is crudely finished. I have thought about buying a new truck, but don't want to part with the ranger. It has been very reliable, and has done everything I have asked. I got better mileage on my F-150. Repair shop put on computer and indicated that problem was electrical. But after shutting off engine would not restart. Id say you re throwing money away in gas, your consumption is absolutely crazy man! Well, i predict a tsunami og messages here. I have been confused about it myself to the point i have wondered if it has a tune on it as i bought it used and whoever owned it before me had added an electronic trailer brake module as well.
I feel like the Ranger did not serve me well for my friend Amy's shower last Sunday. I consider the dealer Ernest to be honest. Build quality is very solid. . I have had no major problems or expenses with this truck. I plan on using this vehicle for a long time yet. I know they are rated for 87 but my truck demolishes that.
